I'm Doing This For Me, Not For You
Currently, my life consists of getting up early, going to sleep late
( 11pm preferably), running from job to job, balancing school, work, and clients on the side. I had a friend ask me: why are you doing all of this?
I thought to myself-- why? WHY!?-- because I have watched too many people suffer as they get older, struggle with finances, watch money rule their life, life uncomfortably, and let life run right past them. I promised myself I will never be that way. When it comes to risks I take the ones that will challenge so I will get better, so I can travel the world--I rather grind hard today and live securely the next.
I told my friend "I'm doing this for me, NOT for you." I don't believe that I have to be what other people want me to be. The problem with human nature is that we have high expectations for other people when we shouldn't do that to them. Everyone is given their own life to make their own choices.
I say all of this to say when I stay up late, run from place to place, collect my paycheck, save up and travel when and where I want it's all on my time and in my control.
Young people need to stop worrying what people are saying about in order to stop them from chasing their dream(s). Chase those dreams, run to end of the world and back, and by no means don't let someone influence you negativity!
